FITNESS FOR WORK POLICY
Dajwood Pty Ltd is committed to a healthy and fit workforce. Dajwood Pty Ltd has expectations and places responsibility on all employees and individuals, that they will present for work fit and healthy for duties.
Under the Workplace Health and Safety Act 1995, all employees and individuals hold a legal obligation to ensure their own safety for themselves and others at the workplace.
All employees are prohibited from working whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or upon producing positive Drug & Alcohol screening test results.
No employee will be permitted to enter a workplace until a negative Drug & Alcohol test has been achieved.
Approval must be given for an employee to exceed working 12 hours over 14hours a Risk Assessment must be carried out before proceeding. This approval can only be given from the company director or delegate.
